CASE STUDY – JAMES HARDIE AT ECO-BUILD 2012

JamesHardie is an industrial building materials company and an experienced exhibitor. We were delighted to be contracted to design and build their stand for Ecobuild 2012 following a word-of-mouth recommendation.

This client had a very detailed brief and a large range of building products to be displayed. Other specifications included a meeting room, TV screens and a large amount of imagery that did not interfere with the product displays. Interestingly, the brief did not specify any brand continuity with their corporate image. However, the budget was a point of concern and was fixed at £12K.

Exhibit3Sixty approached the brief by researching and interpreting the brand identity and offering two design proposals to help alleviate the client concerns about budget – a custom built option and a modular option. We developed the two proposals working closely with the client, making amendments and working through the designs, ensuring both remained within budget.

Of the two proposals, JamesHardie opted for the modular option, feeling it gave a better representation of the brand. We are pleased that we were able to provide a stand that the client felt added ‘value’ to their brand positioning, especially considering this client was an experienced exhibitor.
