Show clash challenge for Exhibit 3Sixty

Exhibit 3Sixty was expecting a busy Q2 2022, and so when the Furniture Show was postponed from January to April, the Coventry-based exhibition builders found themselves simultaneously working on two shows at the NEC this Spring, building exhibitor stands for The Furniture show and as official contractor and supplier for carpet, stand electrics, graphics, rigging, AV, furniture and logistics at CHI Euronics Showcase. Both shows opened on April 24, 2022.

As the official contractor Exhibit 3Sixty built 250m2 of bespoke shell scheme for Euronics, a 231m2 computing feature area, a 160m2 refreshment area, a 400m2 food area, a 150m2 main Euronics stand, and a 100m2 space-only bespoke stand for long-standing clients Hisense. For The Furniture Show, Exhibit 3Sixty designed and built six space-only stands for individual exhibitors.

“We knew this would happen,” said Alan Craner, co-director, Exhibit 3Sixty, “it was inevitable that the run of postponements earlier this year would cause collisions in everyone’s schedules. We had two days head start on The Furniture Show, starting on April 19, before the CHI Euronics build started on April 21. Having planned carefully with all our clients across both events, success was a matter of keeping to our schedule. Our recent purchase of a CNC cutter helped us speed up production, especially with the bespoke feature areas for Euronics which featured a lot of curves and interesting angles.”

Angie Lloyd, member support coordinator, CHI Euronics, said, “Exhibit 3Sixty’s experience with these shows is such that we feel we can ask them anything, and they will deliver. Working with Exhibit 3Sixty to bring the Euronics showcase to life was an absolute pleasure, and with their help we were able to deliver a superb showcase event again this year.”
